The Massachusetts State House is one of the most historic structures in the United States. State House tours are conducted by the staff of the Tours and Government Education Division of the Secretary of the Commonwealth's Office and by volunteers well-versed in the history and architectural background of the State House. The tours are given weekdays year-round from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, and are free of charge. The State House is closed on weekends and holidays.

Tours last approximately 30-45 minutes and include an overview of the history and architecture of the State Capitol as well as visits to the major ceremonial halls and the chambers of the Senate and House of Representatives. Learn more at the State House Tours Office

Washington, DC Tours

Representative Naughton often receives requests for information on obtaining tickets for tours of historic buildings in our nation's capital. However, all requests for tours of Washington, DC landmarks like the White House and the U.S. Capitol need to be coordinated through one of our Congressional representatives.

Use the links below to contact either your representatives in Congress about available tours. You can also learn more at the White House's Tours page or the U.S. Capitol's Visitor's Center page.
