The wind was blowing steady as State Rep. Harold P. Naughton Jr. came out to support the newly erected Meteorological Tower at a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, August 5th. The “MET Tower” represents a victory for the Northborough Wind Turbine Committee and the 12th Worcester district, showcasing the collaborative union of local, state, and federal levels of government. MEET HAROLD

Representative Harold P. Naughton, Jr., a veteran of the Iraq War, represents the 12th Worcester District including Northborough, Clinton, Boylston, the second precinct of Sterling and the second precinct of Lancaster.

In the Massachusetts State Legislature, Rep. Naughton currently serves as the House Chairman of the Joint Committee on Veterans and Federal Affairs. Previously, he served on the House Committee on Ways and Means and the Joint Committee on the Judiciary, and he was the House Vice-Chair of the Joint Committee on Public Safety and Homeland Security.
